All Crystalites electrics are UK specification and have CE and UK safety standard kite marks. NOTE: if the bulb blows you may find the fuse will blow also so you will need to renew the fuse. The style of bulb holder is a non fixed to the base type, this has a bulb holder with two spring clips attached to the sides of it, which can be pushed up the bore hole of the lamp to the very top of the lamp and is held there by the spring clips. To change the bulb simply pull the cord, and the holder with bulb easily slides out of the lamp, then unscrew the bulb, renew and push in the side spring clips to allow the holder to pass back up into the lamp as far as you decide. The cables have a built in on off switch. Bulbs are easily available from all good diy stores or electrical appliance shops. The bulbs used are 7watt and 15watt small eddison screw tread (SES Candle) for the small and medium lamps, and for the larger lamps use 25watt and 40watt (SES Candle bulbs). |
